Como cada mes, la Colaboración Cochrane nos ofrece nuevas revisiones sistemáticas y actualizaciones de otras ya publicadas con anterioridad. Muchas son de interés pediátrico y son las que os indicamos a continuación:
Revisiones nuevas:
- Antibiotic lock for the prevention of catheter-related infection in neonates
- Computed tomography versus magnetic resonance imaging versus bone scintigraphy for clinically suspected scaphoid fractures in patients with negative plain radiographs
- Impact of Haemophilus influenzae type B (Hib) and viral influenza vaccinations in pregnancy for improving maternal, neonatal and infant health outcomes
- Topical antihistamines and mast cell stabilisers for treating seasonal and perennial allergic conjunctivitis
Revisiones actualizadas:
- Budesonide for induction of remission in Crohn's disease
- Effects of restricted caffeine intake by mother on fetal, neonatal and pregnancy outcomes
- Pyridoxine (vitamin B6) supplementation during pregnancy or labour for maternal and neonatal outcomes
- Regional (spinal, epidural, caudal) versus general anaesthesia in preterm infants undergoing inguinal herniorrhaphy in early infancy
